Steve Sanzone, Executive Vice President
Steve has dedicated the past forty years to commercial lending and has closed over one billion dollars in real estate transactions. Steve will be responsible for growing our commercial lending and deposit activities as the Bank expands into Broward County. Steve is a graduate of Florida State University and holds an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
Mark Huard, Senior Vice President
Mark is a lifetime resident of Broward county and seasoned banker with over twenty five years of new business development experience in the areas of commercial lending and deposits. Mark is a graduate of the University of Florida and holds a diploma from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
Frank Muniz, Senior Vice President
Frank is a seasoned commercial lender with over thirty years of commercial lending and banking experience. He specializes in structuring loan deals for commercial real estate, C&I, SBA 504, construction and equipment. Frank is a graduate of Florida International University.
Nick Garcia, Vice President
Nick has dedicated the past twenty years to servicing the needs of his commercial and commercial real estate lending clients. Nick holds an MBA from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from St. Thomas University.
Jorge Garza, Vice President
Jorge is a seasoned lender with over fifteen years of relationship management and new business development experience. He specializes in facilitating loans for clients in the fields of law, accounting and commercial real estate. Jorge is a graduate of the University of Texas - Pan American.
Nicole Medina, Assistant Vice President
Nicole has been a loyal employee of Grove Bank & Trust for over twenty six years. She is responsible for the personal and residential lending needs of the Bank's clients. Nicole is a graduate of Miami Dade College and the American Institute of Banking. Nicole has been involved with the Susan G. Komen Foundation for over ten years and currently serves as a Board Member and Secretary.
Alex Bahamonde, Managing Director, Chief Fiduciary Officer
Alex oversees the fiduciary functions for the wealth management division of the Bank. Alex specializes in advising domestic and international ultra-high net worth families and charitable organizations with complex estate, trust and tax structures. Alex holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Barry University and Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida International University.
David Breitwieser, Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer
David is responsible for assisting clients with their asset allocation decisions, as well as the development, management and implementation of the Bank's investment strategy. David has an exceptional reputation for delivering first class service coupled with his deep understanding of the practice of wealth management. David is currently a member of the CFA Institute and a member of the Miami Society of Financial Analysts. David earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from the University of South Florida.
Marta Goldberg, Managing Director, Fiduciary Wealth Advisor
Marta is responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies, complex family wealth planning, estate planning, tax planning, and charitable giving solutions that address the issues of family governance. Marta has devoted her career to managing all aspects of her clients’ investment and fiduciary needs. Marta has over thirty years of Wealth Management experience in the South Florida marketplace.

Libby Witherspoon, Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager
Libby has over twenty seven years of Wealth Management experience. Libby served on the Account Review Committee, Trust Administrative Committee and as a Mentor for Associates. Having deep roots in Miami, Libby firmly believes in giving back to the community. She currently serves as a Board Member for the Greater Miami and the Keys Chapter of the American Red Cross as well as the Miami Tiffany Circle Chair of the American Red Cross. Libby holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Miami.
Christian Bertot, Regional Market Manager, Senior Vice President
Christian is an accomplished banker with over twenty years of commercial and personal banking experience. His responsibilities include new business development and leading the sales initiatives of the Bank's five office locations. Christian is a Miami native, a graduate of Florida International University and Christopher Columbus High School.

Ana is a professional banker with over twenty seven years of commercial and personal banking experience. She is passionate about her clients and the local community. Ana is a Coral Gables resident and currently serves as the First Chair Elect and Executive Board Member of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
Maira Diaz-Giusti, Senior Vice President, South Miami Office
Maira is an experienced banker with over twenty five years of commercial and private banking experience. She currently serves as Treasurer and Executive Board member for The Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade. Maira holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida International University in Business Management. Maira is a native South Floridian and lives in Doral with her family.

Manny is a well-rounded financial professional with fifteen years of experience. In this role, he is responsible for the growth and overall profitability of the Bank’s Palmetto Bay Office. Manny holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Florida International University. He is involved with Junior Achievement of Greater Miami where he inspires and educates local youth on the importance of workplace readiness, financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
Emilio Vazquez, Senior Vice President
Emilio has over thirty years of financial services experience in the areas of private banking, lending and wealth management. Emilio manages the Bank's Premier Banking division and the Bank's retail brokerage program. In addition, Emilio is passionate about giving back to the community and has been a member of the the Board of Director's of the YES Institute for the last twenty years. Emilio is a graduate of Florida International University.
